Hello, my curious friend! Thank you for joining me on the Sharmanshores ride. I have created this blog to show you the world of infinite opportunities and have you with me on every adventure I take on, but first…allow me to introduce myself.

I’m Adele, a mother, wife, daughter, and now an accidental full-time traveler. Due to the sequence of incredibly aligned events, my husband and I have managed to create a life for ourselves amid a maddening pandemic. How did it all start? Last year my husband and I decided to book a trip to Turkey, after having 8 other holidays canceled due to Covid. With a global pandemic sweeping the world, our 10-night trip to Turkey has turned into a 7-month adventure. I am writing this whilst I sit poolside at the Ritz in Naples Florida, and honestly, I can’t help but pinch myself as I question ‘is this my life’?

From Leeds (the UK), I’m a Northerner who isn’t afraid to speak my mind. If I see something that I want, I don’t hesitate to ask for it, which is exactly what I’ve been doing since we started this adventure. The smile on my face and straightforwardness in my eyes earned me a VIP guest status at the PGA Golf Championship at the stunning Corales Golf Course sited at the Puntacana Resort & Spa. Seeing two of my husband’s favorite players Luke Donald, who has been the World Number One, and Danny Willet from Sheffield (not too far from Leeds), and the smile on my husband’s face was priceless.

If you don’t ask you don’t get it. That’s what I’ve learned over the months of traveling and interacting with people from different cultures & backgrounds.

Many might assume that such world-traveling looks like a non-stop glam. Well, don’t get me wrong – it is MOST of the time (especially since I have been shopping at every given opportunity and don’t even want to think about the excess baggage costs on the way home), there are downsides too. I’ll lie if I tell you that I have not googled ‘how can I kill my husband and not get caught’ most days. Traveling together might feel exhausting and overwhelming, especially when you have to stay flexible juggling between countries and not knowing when you come back home. Missing family and friends have been tough, too. I am so grateful for businesses that deliver gifts because I wouldn’t have forgiven myself for not being home for Christmas had I not already arranged presents to be delivered in our absence to the family.

With that being said, I am beyond blessed for choosing to live my life exactly the way I am living it now. It has never been only glitz and glam. I had my share of dedicating my life to my family and kids. So now it’s about time to shine cuz it’s my time! 😉

My purest intention is to help you understand that life is short, every day is a blessing and there are so many beautiful places to celebrate it! I’ll show you the finest stay-ins, advise on what countries best to go to, and which tours to pick for an unforgettable experience. Let me walk you in my life, and we will shine together.

Stay tuned for more adventures!

With love,
